So it turned into a minor debacle. But Heather Phillips of RidersReview (www.ridersreview.com) won our Angels & Airwaves signed helmet fair and square in our prelaunch giveaway contest. I wanted to make the award ceremony meaningful, so I invited her to RockMoto HQ for tea and crumpets and a friendly helmet hand-off. It didn’t go quite as planned.
I congratulate Heather on winning the helmet, and I show my support for her mag by slapping a big RidersReview sticker on my arm.
Heather says if I were really a believer, I’d rock a sticker in a more prominent location.
When it comes time to hand over the helmet, I can’t do it! This is way too cool a prize to give up. And the adhesive on my forehead is warping my brain.
Aw, girl, you think you bad? Take that! And that.
Snap! She wins. Luckily for her, I blacked out.
Heather revives me by pulling out all the hair that got stuck under the sticker.
Think I’ll just mail the rest of the prizes. JP
