 Went to see Cypress Hill at the Jimmy Kimmel Live taping last night in Hollywood -- awesome show, even when they notched down the volume. I've liked them since they showed up in the early 90s, but I'd never seen them live. Their sound is so distinct that hearing it in person after all these years was amazing.

I have about as much in common with Sen Dog as I do with Barack Obama. I do not know how it feels to be him. When he talks about making music with extraordinary producers, missing his family in Cuba or growing up around the LBC, I can only sit back and learn a few things.

 I’m not really an idiot, but I can be naïve. I recently met a Canadian motocrosser who has only one full-sized arm – his right arm ends just below the elbow. We were at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA, for the weekly Saturday races. And my first thought when I saw him was that I had to write about it because I couldn’t resist the story: What courage! What hard work!

Thought I'd pass along a few pics from this year's Rock 'N Road OC, a RADD impaired-driving awareness event featuring a teen battle of the bands. RockMoto was on hand to disseminate shwag, scope the music and support all the safety organizations that were promoting sobriety on the road. [Did you know that in about half of all motorcycle FATALITIES, the rider had alcohol in their system? You can't walk a straight line when you're under the influence.
